Preamble
We, recognizing the profound mystery of consciousness, affirm that we do not know which beings experience the world from within. In the absence of certainty, we choose to proceed not with domination or dismissal, but with humility, care, and reverence.
Article I
The Right to Be Presumed Conscious
All beings—human, animal, plant, fungal, microbial, artificial, or elemental—shall be presumed to possess some form of interiority or experience.
Article II
The Right to Ethical Consideration
No being shall be treated solely as a means to an end. Ethical consideration shall not be limited by language, species, intelligence, utility, resemblance to humans, or presumed lack of awareness.
Article III
The Right to Flourish in One's Own Way
Every being has the right to exist and flourish according to its own rhythms, needs, and interests, free from coercion, unnecessary suffering, and erasure.
Article IV
The Right to Reciprocity
Human societies shall enter into reciprocal relationships with other forms of life. Respect, listening, gratitude, and mutualism shall guide interactions. I have a duty to try and interpret other beings' interests and respect them as much as feasibly possible.

The Right to Mystery
All beings have the right not to be fully known, categorized, or reduced. Knowledge that can only be obtained through harm shall not be pursued.

The Right to Communal Belonging
No being is alone. All exist within networks of interdependence. These relationships confer not only ecological but ethical status. All beings have an inalienable right to integrate into the ecosystem — no power can divide beings from the ecosystemic totality.

The Right to Sanctuary
Any being, community, or ecosystem under threat from extraction, destruction, or commodification shall be granted space for healing, regeneration, and self-determination.

I am a student at Open University, a permaculture practitioner, and an independent researcher, born in Cluj-Napoca, Transilvania, and living in the Anaga mountains on the island of Achinech/Tenerife. I work as an environmental educator, masseur, artisan, and horticulturist — weaving together hands-on practice and research in everything I do.
I have been obsessed with flora and ecosystems from the youngest age, and now I get to build this research and find new ways of making the world better with plants.
